Welcome to Podcasting Tips Daily…. I’m Chris Huskins and today I am going to tell you about a free video creation tool for your podcast…..
I have spoken before about using video to market your podcast and about audiogram videos, those little videos of clips of your podcast with the waveform animated over the top…. Well here is the tool for doing that COMPLETELY FREE!!
Headliner is a great little tool that I have been using for ages for doing this.
You can upload a background picture, decide on the size, with choices of optimized sizes for different social platforms…. Such as landscape for facebook, square for instagram, or portrait for stories.
And then you can pick the type of waveform, the colours, you can add logos, and you can even output different qualities.
You can now also use the auto-transcriber to generate captions in text of the audio in your clip, and then correct them in real time on the timeline within headliner. It’s super quick, and super easy!
It’s fantastic and it helps hack those social media algorithms so you can promote with video rather than just posting the link, which won’t work! I spoke more about this in a previous episode so look back a couple of episodes for the how to use social media correctly episode and check that out.
You can check this video tool out at the web address headliner.app as I say it’s completely free but you do need to sign up for an account… I am not affiliated with them but I do think it’s brilliant and I have seen some really good success from using these videos.
That’s today’s podcasting tip, keeping it short so you have time to head over there and start creating some videos for yourself!
